Contemporary Art Space Chester – exhibition ‘Mothers’

It was great to make our first visit to CASC – Contemporary Art Space Chester, at the Kingsway campus of Chester University.  The Mothers exhibition is a collection of 50 artworks, all on same sized canvases and are the artists responses to making an image of their mother.  There are some very well known names in amongst the works including David Shrigley, Dinos Chapman, Grayson Perry, and many more. The works were far ranging from the realist portrait to the mixed media abstract works. It’s so exciting to see a gallery in Chester showcasing contemporary work, and some well known artists too. We can’t wait to see what’s on there next!
