Amy – Creative Director

What I do…

I work with you, our client to understand your business, and your aspirations- where you are and where you want to be. I carry out design research to get a four-dimensional perspective of your business; your points of difference, your position, your target market, your processes, your people, your drive and passion. This creates a strong place to conjure up design concepts for your website or your brand that are unique, relevant and engaging. All underpinned with a clear design strategy. I work with the concept until it’s sharp, then I team up with Dave to wrestle the creative ideas into working designs, then Dave’s ready to take it to the next level. Once it’s in prototype my role is more truly directorial – keeping the project on brief, while Dave develops the design and code.

Dave – Designer/Developer

What I do..

I take the concepts Amy has developed from her creative research with you, and create working designs that tell your story. With structured sign-off stages for you, I hone, prototype and code designs for your website and brand that have just the right look, feel, tone, movement and interactivity.

 

In terms of website design, my industry title is a ‘Front-End developer’ so my technical skills are driven by making the visual and kinetic design come to life and function smoothly. Technically I build code in HTML, CSS, Javascript and PHP. I work with W3C international web standards, to guide what we do, as we think our practice, should be best practice.
